Absolutely exceptional genuine Native American sterling silver ring. Fabulous quality chunky ring with incredible detailing. Large sterling silver oval front depicting a beautiful Cardinal bird inlaid with coral, and further flower/leaf detailing with abalone and turquoise inlay. It’s so pretty as it catches the light. Around the sides there’s further inlay work with coral, turquoise and lapis lazuli which is a really nice touch and elevates the whole design. Chunky wide band. Stamped ‘J I Livingston Sterling’, attributed to award winning artists Jay and Irene Livingston.
Lovely condition, it comes in an eco friendly gift box.
Slightly adjustable size. It sits comfortably at R1/2 but opens up slightly to S1/2, or could be carefully squeezed together to Q1/2. I don’t believe that the adjustable fitting is original as it has cut through the artists’ stamp. However if it wasn’t cut through the stamp I wouldn’t realise that it had been altered as it is very neatly done and doesn’t look out of place at all.
Unsure about sizing, check out the size guide.
Weight 24.6g. As this piece contains over 7.78g of silver, it has been independently tested and subtly hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office. Its UK hallmark confirms that the silver meets the sterling standard of 925 fineness.
